Dorothy Baxter

Dorothy went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on November 15, 2024.

She passed peacefully at Runnymede Healthcare, surrounded by family shortly after her 94th birthday. Loving Mother to Gail, Sharon and Jim. Cherished Grandma to Christopher, Matthew and Nathan.

She is reunited with her beloved husband, Lorne, to whom she was married for 48 years at the time of his passing.

Dorothy was born in Toronto to John and Vera Harrison. She is survived by her sister Joan Burlison (predeceased by her husband, Jim). She was predeceased by her sister, Marian (husband, Don).

She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Dorothy will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and unwavering faith. A loving, faithful servant of God. We wish to express our appreciation to the staff at Runnymede Healthcare for their physical and spiritual care of our mum. 

Dorothy's Celebration of Life Service will be held at Queensway Baptist Church, 950 Islington Avenue, Toronto, on Saturday, November 23, at 11:30 a.m.

 A reception will be held at the Church following the service. Interment will be held at a later date.
