We are saddened to announce the passing of Doris Jessie Oxton (Kyle), known to many as Bunny. Doris passed away peacefully at Humber River Hospital on August 18th 2022 at the age of 90.

Doris was born in Apohaqui, New Brunswick Jan. 31st 1932. She is predeceased by her parents Kenneth Keith and Margaret Viola, loving husband Bernard John, brothers Albert and Walter, sisters Pearl, Ruby and Jean. Survived by Sister Frances. Son Allan Robert (Joanne). Grandchildren Theresa (Charles), Anthony, Tena, Kelly (Duncan). She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.


Doris had a remarkable passion for life. This, as well as her kindness, humor and determined spirit, carried her and served her well through her ninety years.


She was the rock and the centre of our large family’s universe. She could always be counted on for wit, wisdom and a word or act of kindness and compassion.

She will be greatly missed but will always be forever in our hearts.
