Doris Leola Langille
1919-2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Leola Langille, age 98, of Brampton, ON announce her passing. Doris passed away peacefully at Brampton Extendicare on Saturday, November 25 2017.
Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Jane (Hughes) Webb.
Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by her husband Lester, sisters Alice, Lillian, Edna and Sheila, brothers Austin, Emberd and Roy, granddaughter Brenda, son in law Harold Gray.
Doris married her husband Lester in Truro and moved to Brampton in 1953, where they raised their children Phyllis (Gray) and Ronald. She was a member of Christ Anglican Church.
Doris was a devoted and loving wife and grandmother. Her home was always filled love. She welcomed entertaining the many family and friends that would drop by. She enjoyed many years fishing with Lester at Jack Lake in Apsley.
Doris will be dearly missed by her children Phyllis Gray and Ronald (Marilyn), grandchildren Debbie Hay (RIchard), Kevin Langille (Mechelle), Larry Gray (Kim), Bob Gray, Lynn Ion (Darren), Leah Robinson, Jason Mather (Lorraine), Jill Mather and John Mather. She will also be missed by her 24 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews were also dear to her.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the wonderful caregivers at Extendicare Brampton.
