Doreen Small

Mrs Doreen Evelyn Small age 94, passed away peacefully on June 8th, 2017. Doreen was born on September 7th, 1922 in St. Joseph, Barbados and was the eldest of three children. She moved to Canada in 1970, but made sure she travelled back to her home country regularly. One of her biggest joys in life was spending time not only with her family, but also at the church with her church sisters, singing hymns and reading her favorite passages in the bible. Doreen is survived by her beautiful children Lionel, Anthony, Sheena, Whitfield, David, Robert, Michael, Peter, and Sandra; grandmother to Nadia, Nicole, Cherrie, Theodore, Michelle, Jennifer, Zenobia, Stephen, Jeremaine, Erynne, Christina, Lisa, Natasha, Gemma, Simone, Haley, Stephanie, Andre, Ryan, Anna, Nicholas, Jada, McKenzie, Zara, and Garrett; and great-grandmother to Dominic, Ryan, Nataliya, Nathan, Henry, Taylor, Tristyn, Dylan, Ayden, Athena, Miles, Simeon, Jesiah, Keyano, and Arianna. Doreen will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her incredible honesty, wisdom as well as her independent and feisty nature, which we will all miss profoundly.
