Donna Patricia Mercer (nee Lavereau)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on Saturday, March 20, 2021. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, James (Jimmy) Mercer.
She will remain in the hearts of her children Larry and Sarie Rosseau, Steven and Elaine Mercer, and Terri and Russell Mabee.
Beloved grandmother of Tori and Daniel Miranda, William Rosseau, Gemma Rosseau, Erika Mercer, Lauren Mercer, Larissa Rosseau, and Greysen Mabee. She will be greatly missed by her brothers and sisters Terry and Maxine Lavereau, Sandra Lavereau, and Randy Lavereau.

“Mothers never really die; they just keep the house up in the sky. They polish the sun by day and light the stars that shine at night, keep the moonbeams silvery bright and in the heavenly home above they wait to welcome those they love.”

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Wednesday March 24th, 2021 from 4:30 until 9:00 p.m.
Effective March 15th, 2021, as per the mandate of the Bereavement Authority to safely manage and adhere to social distancing requirements, please RSVP for the visitation.

A private family service will be held in the chapel on Thursday March 25th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
A private family Interment to follow at Glenview.
