BRIDGE, Donalda Kaye

Peacefully passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday March 1st, 2017 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Roy Bridge. Loving mother of Marrianne (Mark), Brenda, and Donald. Cherished grandma of Christopher and Vanessa. Survived by her sisters Mary Helen (Lyle), Elva (Bob), by her brother Bruce (Catherine), and by her brother-in-law Jack. Predeceased by her parents Eva and Roy MacDonald, brother Alec, and by her sisters Elizabeth, Beatrice, Margaret, and Donna. Donalda will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Donalda spent 30 years as a teacher, consultant, and vice-principal with the Etobicoke Board of Education, retiring in 1995. A life-long and devoted member of the Presbyterian Church, she was committed in many areas of church life.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Sunday March 5, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held at St. Giles Kingsway Presbyterian Church, 15 Lambeth Road Etobicoke, on Saturday March 11, 2017 at 2pm.
