Donald Franklin Lahie

With profound sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Don on June 26, 2013 in his 80th year.
Beloved husband of Helen May, dear father of Debbie and Paul. Grandfather to Tyler and Michael who miss him dearly.
Also survived by brother Reg (Jean) and his family. Predeceased by Ken (Claire), Gord (Norma). Uncle to many nieces and nephews in the Lahie family. Brother-in-law to Victor and Eileen Collins, nephew Shawn and niece Michelle.
In keeping with Don’s wishes cremation has taken place. Most fortunate to have made so many excellent friends in our 55 years of marriage. Don had a group of childhood friends who called themselves “The Weasels”. They got together in 1989 for a 40 year reunion. He enjoyed being part of that group – to them he was called “Donny”
Friends and family will be received at Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street S., Brampton on Friday July 5th, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. A service of remembrance will be held at Christ Anglican Church, 4 Elizabeth Street N. (downtown Brampton) on Saturday July 6th at 2:00 p.m.
