Donald (Don) Ross

Passed away suddenly on March 7th, 2011 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of 44 years to Elizabeth, father to Steven (Janet) and Andrew (Karlene). Doting grandfather to Sarah and Mia. Remembered by his sisters Jeannie Godin (Ray) and Hazel Fotheringham (John) and brothers Rupert (Sandra) and Malcolm (Colleen). A visitation will be held on Sunday March 13th from 2-4 at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, 905-844-3221 with a Masonic service to follow at 4:15 p.m. at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday March 14th at 11:00 a.m. in the Ward Chapel. Over the past 40 years Don quietly raised funds for battered women shelters and educational bursaries to name but a few. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to "The Masonic Foundation of Ontario" (online donations through www.canadahelps.org) in memory of W.Bro. Donald Ross.
