Crawford, Donald Ross

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Donald Ross Crawford on September 5, 2015 at the age of 76.

He is survived by Nancy his loving wife of 56 years, his children Donald (Gladys), Geoffrey (Sandra), Susan (David) and Cathy (Kevin), his grandchildren Nicholas, Melissa, David, Samantha, Victoria, Chase, Sarah, Sammy and his dog Riley.

Don was a proud husband, father, grandfather, businessman and community supporter. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and colleagues.

Don was Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Brampton, Past President of the Brampton Board of Trade, Recipient of the Brampton Business Person of the Year Award in 1990, Past President of the Ontario General Contractors Association and Past President of the Caledon Riding Club. He was also involved with and supported many community projects.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday September 9, 2015 from 7-9pm and on Thursday September 10, 2015 from 3-6pm at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, Brampton. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Anglican, 4 Elizabeth Street North in Brampton on Friday September 11, 2015 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation or Brampton Kiwanis Charitable Foundation.
