Donald Grant Rome in his eighty-seventh year, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, February 21st, 2025. Loving husband of Margaret (nee Crombie). Dear father to Ian and Neil. Loving Grandpa to Taylor, Holly and Leah. Survived by his youngest brother Lloyd. Predeceased by his brothers Wilbert and Kenneth, and by his sister Rhoda. Don will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, and friends in Canada, Scotland, United States, Australia, and New Zealand. Donations may be made in Donald's memory to the MAID program at Southlake Regional Hospital, Newmarket, ON.
