It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Domenico Ferrante. He passed away on September 11, 2021 at Mackenzie Health Hospital at the age of 72. Beloved husband to Lina Ferrante of 51 years. Dear father to Cristina Maria Ferrante-Gobeo (Dean Gobeo), Nicola Ferrante (Rina), and Tony Ferrante (Carla). Cherished Nonno to Sarah Rose, Jesse Domenic & Sofia Angelina. Domenico fought a hard battle, but God knew he was suffering and called him home. He will be dearly missed by many nieces & nephews. He is reunited with his loving father Nicola, mother Cristina, sister Cristina & brother Antonio. Survived by his sister Marianinna and brother Carmine. Family will receive relatives & friends at Ward Funeral Home - 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (west of Pine Valley Drive) 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 9 pm on Wednesday September 15, and 6 – 9 pm on Thursday September 16. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Ward Funeral Home on Friday September 17 at 11:30 am. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
