Domenico De Palma

Domenico De Palma died suddenly in his home Tuesday, January 26, 2021, after a short illness. A highly spiritual, strong, and humble man, Domenico emigrated from his home in Italy to settle in Canada in the late 1960s to give his family a new way of life and greater opportunities than were open to him as a young man. A man with a strong and determined character, he built a loving and secure home through hard work, sacrifice, and good humour.

Domenico was a beloved husband of 64 years to Carmela, a loving father to Rina, Mario, Roberto, Gerry, Pina, and Amedeo, a cherished grandfather to Rossella, Antonella, Bryan, Matthew, Amanda, Nicholas, Olivia, and Melena, and great-grandfather to Angelica, Nathan, Elyse, Charlie, Jack, and Mickey. His passing will leave a hole in our hearts and he will be sorely missed.

A private funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at 1:30 pm followed by entombment at Beechwood cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
