It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend Domenic Meliota.

Domenic passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Toronto on January 17, 2023, in his 89th year. He is reunited with his beloved wife in heaven, Marguerite Meliota. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving daughter Judi Allan (Marc), his adoring grandchildren Jennifer Bowden (Kyle), Kimberley Mariano, Robert Allan, and three great grandchildren Matthew, Mila, and Zachary who were blessed to get to know him.

Domenic was a strong, kind, hard working, dedicated family man and was deeply admired by those who knew him well. He surrounded himself with those who loved him, spent his winters on a beach in Acapulco, summers in Fenelon Falls, Avid fishermen, enjoyed reading the newspaper and staying active by walking and biking, always indulging in the last sliver of cake and was always there for every family milestone. He was the silent, solid pillar in our family, and will be deeply missed.

Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Ward Funeral Home, in the Woodbridge Chapel on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Canada.
