Dianne Snider

With much sorrow we announce the passing of Dianne Snider suddenly on November 11, 2010. Born on July 20, 1955 to Beryl & Murray Snider of Clifford, Ontario. Predeceased by her loving parents. Mother to Mistie Pelastik of Mississauga and Eddy ‘Boy’ Schultz of British Columbia. Cherished sister to Rob and Glenna Snider (Port Elgin), Rich and Cathy Snider (Harriston), and Ruthanne and Bill Ellis (Stratford). Loving aunt to Kirby Snider, Mitch Snider, Chad Snider, Chris Rickett, Reagan Yuke, Samantha Hack, Hap Sneddon, Whitney McIntosh and their partners. The ‘Greatest’ great aunt to Lane, Chase, Kingsley, Keenan, Ellis, Phoebe, and Zoey. Sadly missed by Aunt Muriel & Uncle Glen Wightman of London. Adoring grandmother to Kassandra and Tomas Schultz of British Columbia; and adopted “Nanna” to Brandon, Maddie, Julian and Joyce.
Dianne was born and raised in Clifford, Ontario. She spent many years passionately raising her family in British Columbia, moving back home in 1996. Dianne was a devoted long time employee of Pentel Stationary. After her aneurism in 2005 she felt gratified from helping out with projects at Peekaboo Childcare Centre. Trinkets and craft projects were another passion of Dianne’s and she loved making treasures for all of her loved ones to enjoy. Dianne’s was known as a great friend and an adopted mother to many. She took great pride in the treasured friendships that she had cultivated over her 55 years.
Family & friends will gather at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, S., in Brampton on Fri., Nov. 19 from 1 – 3 p.m. for a celebration of her life. A visitation & remembrance for Dianne will also be held at the Garrett Funeral Chapel in Clifford, on Sat., Nov. 20 from 1 – 3 p.m., prior to her final resting at the Clifford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Big Brother’s and Big Sister’s of Canada, Peel Region would be greatly appreciated.
