Dianne Ciffolillo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dianne Lynne Ciffolillo at the age of 75. Loving wife to Giuseppe (Joe) for 54 years. Devoted mother to Melinda and Lisa.. Beloved Nan to Brianna and Kailyn. Predeceased by her parents Frances and Edwin Hodges. Fondly remembered by her siblings Jim (Sharon) and Lois (Frank) Walters . She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and long-time friends. Dianne was born and raised in the city of Weston and devoted her life to her family. She always had a smile on her face and a corny joke to tell. She enjoyed the simple things in life. Camping, car rides and shopping were among her favorite activities. Nothing compared to a Tim Hortons coffee and a bacon breakfast sandwich. She watched ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’ religiously and never missed a Wheel of Fortune or Family Feud. A devoted Seinfeld and Schitt’s Creek fan exemplified her fun nature. She was a very active Nan (don’t call her grandma) in her granddaughters’ lives and made significant connections with many people in the neighborhood by taking the girls to school and activities when they were younger. She never complained and always put others ahead of herself. She will be remembered for her selflessness and kind nature. She spent her final months at home with her family as she wished and was surrounded by her husband and children when she took her final breath. Our hearts are broken and will never be the same but take some comfort knowing that she is no longer in pain.

Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, located at 2035 Weston Road on Friday, February 28th from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st at 9:30am at St. Norbert's Roman Catholic Church, 100 Regent Road in North York. Following the mass, all guests are welcome back at Ward Funeral Home to share in some light refreshments.
