Diana (Betty) Mary Plant (nee Palmer)
Feb 10, 1920 – May 10, 2023
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Diana on May 10th in the City of Brampton. Betty was the wife of the late Clarence (Red) Plant and the daughter of William and Emily Palmer. Diana was predeceased by her sister Madeline and her brother Richard. She is survived by her brother William Palmer. She will be missed by her many Great Nieces and Nephews, and friends. She was a lifelong member of Christ Church. Diana started her career with Brampton Hydro in 1941 and retired in 1977. Diana saw the evolution of the Town of Brampton into the City of Brampton, and in her later years she enjoyed drives around the city and marveled at the vastness of present-day Brampton with the changes from her early days in the ‘20s and 30s to the present day.
Diana’s last four years were spent at Amica Peel Village. Diana had an ongoing love of cats and she was able to take her Hilary with her to Amica. Thank you to the staff who made her final years very enjoyable.
