Denise Sova

December 19, 1936 – April 14, 2025

With deep love and quiet sorrow, we share the passing of our mom and grandmother, Denise Sova, who left us peacefully on April 14th at the age of 88.     Before she became the heart of our family, Denise lived an adventurous life — worked as a model, then seeing the world as a flight attendant. She later joined the Royal Canadian Air Force , where she met Frank, the man she would marry in 1961 and spend the next six decades with, building a life full of love, laughter, and shared travels.                                              

Denise was never one for the spotlight. She was gentle, thoughtful, generous without hesitation. She gave more than she asked for, and her presence ,calm, steady, and kind — will be missed in ways we’re still discovering.

She leaves behind her husband, Frank; her daughter, Christine; her sons, Rick and Dan; and her grandchildren — Haley, Lauren, Daniella, and Nikolas. She is survived by her loving extended family from Quebec and Ontario.                             

A visitation will take place on Saturday, April 26th, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Ward Funeral Home – Brampton Chapel (52 Main Street South, Brampton), followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place afterward at Meadowvale Cemetery.
