Passed away peacefully with family by her side after a very brave and courageous battle with cancer.

Very loved daughter of the late Joseph and Leona Chartrand. Dear sister of Ernest, Rita, Denis, Simone, Marcel and late Claire. Loving and supportive wife of Kenneth. Terrific mother in law of Estela. Amazing mom to son Kevin and the #1 spoiler of her cherished grand children, Lauren and Sarah.

Denise was born in Bonnyville, Alberta and raised on a farm. She went on to pursue a great career as registered nurse and retired in 2005.

A very social person, Denise enjoyed a good party and would usually be right in the center of conversation. She had an infectious personality along with tremendous compassion that touched all who met her.

Denise was a very hard worker and always put others needs before hers. In recent years she battled many medical challenges without any complaints. She was a very loving and caring person who will be missed dearly. Denise can now finally get a much deserved rest and will be in peace with God in heaven.
