Demetrio Filauro

Demetrio Filauro passed away on Tuesday, January 23rd 2024 at the age of 90. 

Predeceased on April 15th, 2021 by his loving wife of 60 years, Christina and his beloved son Fabrizio who are now reunited in heaven. 

Proud Father of his surviving children Mariella, Luciano and Ivana. 

Loving Nonno to his grandchildren Manuela, Daniella and Sonia. He was the brother of 3 siblings that have predeceased him and maintained a large extended family in Italy. He spent his golden years in Brampton surrounded by close family and friends whose generosity was deeply valued. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Dino loved life and lived it to the fullest. His passions ranged from motorcycles to tending to his garden which even led to winning the coveted award for best "Curb Appeal" in Brampton one year. He loved traveling to Italy to see his grand children and had fond memories of times he once spent with his beloved wife in Cinque Terre. 

Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home in Brampton, 52 Main Street S, on Wednesday January 31st.  Viewing commencing at 10:30 am and Chapel Services at 12:00 pm noon. Procession to Queen of Heaven Cemetery will follow the service.
