Deane Weeks

WEEKS, E. DEANE
(Feb 2, 1933 – May 8, 2014)

After a short, but characteristically courageous battle with ALS, Deane passed away at St Joseph’s Health Centre. Born in Montreal, Deane was a valued friend to her classmates at Carlyle School, Mount Royal H.S., and Mount Allison and McGill universities. She leaves her husband, Bill, after 58 wonderful years together. She was a loving mother to Carol Ring (Dennis) and Bob, and she leaves a powerful legacy to her grandchildren Diane (Conor), Geoff (Amanda), and Chris.

An active golfer and curler at the Weston G&CC, she enjoyed her winters at The Landings in Ft. Myers, Fla. She had many special friendships including those from her book club and Humber Valley United Church communities.
