Born Montreal July 20,1947 - Died Oakville January 19,2017

David Power died unexpectedly on January 19, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents Jenny and Walter Power, his sister Diane Kantor, his aunt and uncle Edna and Brian Cahill, and his brother-in-law Edmund. Survived by his wife Margaret Ballantyne-Power, his son and daughter-in-law Alastair Power and Jenn Dunn. Also his family of 37 years, Ann Oakley, Elizabeth Ballantyne, Hugh Ballantyne, Felicity Fairbairn, John Ballantyne, Liz Davidson and many neices, nephews, great neices and nephews and friends beyond count. He was greatly loved and we will carry him with us and pass on the love, campassion, kindness and wisdom he gave us. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11am in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
