David Dunbar

Peacefully on December 28, 2017 in Oakville, Ontario aged 93. Loving husband of the late Luella Dunbar, cherished father to Leslie and the late Robert Dunbar and devoted grandpa to Rochelle and Justin McAdam. David was born in Chateauguay Quebec, and graduated from Concordia University. He took great pride in a lifelong career at Bell Canada, retiring as the Director of Audit in 1985. As a long time member of the Institute of Internal Auditors he held many roles and was Chairman of the Board from 1980/81. David was a proud Canadian who always gave thanks for the peace, prosperity and civility we all enjoy. Visitation will be held on Friday January 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville. Memorial Service at the funeral home chapel on Saturday January 13th at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
