It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danila on May 6th, 2015 at the age of 91 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Ubaldo. Loving mother of Eliana. Cherished nonna to Cristina. Loving sister to Nino (Emma), Rita (late Pasquale)Lucilla (late Marino) and the late Luigia. She will be sadly missed by sisters-in-law Ilde (late Luigi) and Vittorina (late Fernando) and all her nieces and nephews. Danila always put the needs of family and friends before her own and was the first to inspire, encourage and praise others. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at The Village of Humber Heights for their compassionate care and support. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Rd. on Monday, May 11th, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society Canada.
