It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia (Cyndy) on Saturday April 17, 2010 at the age of 54 at Brampton Civic Hospital, Brampton, Ontario.

Cynthia was the beloved wife of the late L. Joseph (Joe) Fraser-Powell who passed away in May 2009.

Cynthia was the youngest child of Lorna Isabelle Fraser (Sudbury) and the late John Fraser. She was the younger sister of Jack Fraser (Elizabeth) of Sudbury and his family and Lorna Aitchison (Lin) of Sydney, Australia and her family. She also leaves her brother in law Mike Powell and his family in St. Catharines.

Also left to grieve Cynthia are the Breast Cancer Support Group Brampton who played a large part in making her comfortable in her final months and her co-workers at the City of Brampton and many friends from her various groups in Brampton. Cynthia had previously been employed by Chubb Security for over 20 years.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday April 29th, 2010 at 5:00pm at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. S., Hwy 10, Brampton. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellspring Chinguacousy, 5 Inspiration Way, Brampton, L6R 0L7. A Book of Memories may be signed at www.wardfuneralhome.com
