Sadly, Curt, much beloved husband of 52 years to Nini, passed away in Oakville on November 28, 2013.

Curt was born in Norway in 1927, participated in the resistance during the war, sailed around the world to Canada as a ship's electrician and enjoyed an exciting global career as an engineer.

He loved to create, build and make a difference for people and was extraordinarily gifted yet humble. He will be missed for his youthful, optimistic, honest and loving approach to family and life. He was an amazing husband, father and friend and his legacy will endure through the hearts and souls of his loved ones.

With cherished memories he leaves three sons and daughters in law, Frank & Wendy, John & Karin, and Chris & Charlene along with 7 grandchildren Sandi (Bill), Jacqueline, Samantha, Justin, Alexis, Xanthie and Camille.

Friends are invited to celebrate his life at the Glen Abbey Golf Club (1333 Dorval Drive, Oakville) on Monday December 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Ian Anderson House, Oakville. Please visit the Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com
