Crescenzo D'Avino

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Crescenzo D’Avino, known to many as Chris. He passed away peacefully on October 28, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Crescenzo was born on February 7, 1943 to Antonio & Maria D’Avino. Beloved husband of Antonietta married 56 years. Cherished father of Antonio (Maria) & Fabian. Devoted grandfather of Christian, Alexander, Deanna, Bianca & Samantha.

Nothing brought him more joy than spending family time together with his children and grandchildren. He was genuine, caring, loving, intelligent and always made you feel welcomed. Crescenzo loved to go for walks and stay up late to finish a crossword puzzles. He had a keen interest in travel, and especially enjoyed his trips to Italy with Antonietta. He will be fondly remembered for his generous heart that offered care and kindness to all. Our grief over losing him is infinite. And now so is he.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (940 N Park Dr., Brampton). Memorial donations may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation.
