Craig, known by his family and friends as a loving and generous person, passed away at his home in Ottawa on January 14th at the age of 29 years. Kind and loving son of Don and Shirley (nee McLaren) and dear brother of Cameron.
He will be sadly missed by his Grandparents (Pastor) Ray and Barb Galbraith. Beloved nephew of Linda, Ian, Heather (Jon), Neil (Jackie) and Allison (Joe) all of Scotland and by his uncles Doug (Zina) and Gord (Alison) as well as his many cousins and extended family both here and in Scotland.
A gathering and celebration of Craig's life will be held on Friday, January 26th at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 971 Woodroffe Ave, Ottawa. Family and friends are invited to gather for a time to support, visit and share memories and stories from 1pm to 2pm.
At 2pm, we will come together as a family, church family and friends to celebrate Craig and his Creator, in whom he had his full faith and trust. Craig's faith, evident to the end could be summarized as follows.
"I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death or life, angels or demons, not our fears of today and not our concerns about tomorrow. No power in all creation will ever be able to separate us from God's love. Safe in the arms of Jesus, we are His beloved children and heirs"
Craig, so generous and gentle, happily volunteered to help anyone in need. To honour his legacy, donations to CMHA (Canadian Mental Health Association) Ottawa would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
