CORNELIA (CORRIE) LIPMAN
The family announces with great sorrow the peaceful passing of Corrie, 89 years, on April 22, 2019 at Faith Manor, Brampton with loving family by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband Theodore in 1997. Loving mother of Marianne, Monique, Pauline (Bob), John and Rob (Shannan). Cherished Oma to Kersten, Marcel, Eric, Joshua, Jacob, Jenna (Ben), Jonathan, Kassandra, Michael, Christopher, Andrew, Corey and Danika. Great Oma of Lexie, Kelton, and Eric Jr.
Born in The Hague, Holland, daughter of the late Simon and Johanna de Groot (Van Leersum). Dear sister of Wim, Kees and Jan (predeceased), Harry, Carl and Simon. Loved by sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Mom's courage and perseverance in the face of many great obstacles are truly a testament to her uncensored zest for life. She valued her family and was fully engaged in all things where it mattered. A social butterfly, always welcoming , always a smile.
The family would like to thank the staff at Faith Manor - Holland Christian Homes for their outstanding compassion and care they provided to our mother.
Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 66A Main Street South, Brampton on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Meadowvale Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Corrie can be made to a charity of your choice.
