Constantine "Costa" Petro

CONSTANTINE PETRO
June 30, 1932 – May 12, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Constantine Petro on May 12, 2023. Costa passed away peacefully at home, just short of his 91st birthday. He leaves behind his loving wife of 68 years, Tina (nee Sideris), as well as his beloved sons, Peter (Olga) and Chris (Carmina). Costa leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Michael (Dana) and Julia, and his great-grandson Ryan. Very proud younger brother of Foti, and his wife Vasa (both predeceased). He also leaves behind his two wonderful nieces Helen Tsougios and Dorothy Petro, who loved him dearly.
Costa was born in Prekopana, Macedonia on June 30, 1932 to Christo and Meta Petro. He immigrated to Canada as a young man for a better life. He later met and married Tina in 1955. He will finally be reunited with his predeceased parents, and his best friend and brother, Foti and wife Vasa.

Friends and family may call at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto M9N 1X7 (416-241-4618) on Tuesday, May 16th from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral service will be held in their Chapel on Wednesday, May 17th at 10:30am with burial to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, 1570 Royal York Rd.
