Concetta Giordano

Mrs. Concetta Giordano (nee Brunetto)

December 22, 1933 – April 26, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved mother, Concetta Giordano. Predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Giuseppe Giordano (deceased in 2001). Concetta is survived by her children Charlie, Connie, Michael, Dino, her sister Gaetana, her grandchildren Joseph (Natalie) and Nicolas, and her great-grandchild Chiara.

Our mother was a caring and loving person and enjoyed time with her friends and family.  She enjoyed cooking and gardening.  She nurtured her plants in the same way as she nurtured her children and everyone she touched in her life.  She was the matriarch of our family; our best friend and her advice was invaluable to us all.  We will miss her beautiful eyes and wonderful smile as she lit up every room she walked into.   Our mom enjoyed going to church and saying her prayers daily.  We know she is in peace with my dad in heaven.  Mom will be missed by all who know her.

Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto on Wednesday, May 1^st from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm. The funeral mass will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church located at 1415 Royal York Road on Thursday, May 2^nd at 9:30am with Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
