Clifford Fraser Turner 1928 - 2017

Clifford passed away October 9th, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto. He was the loving husband of Eleanor. Predeceased by his beloved first wife, Ruth. A devoted father to his daughter, Kimberley Turner and to her husband Seoras Adams and to his son Blair Turner and his partner, Blaine Herrmann. He also leaves a much loved grandson, Rory Adams. Predeceased by his siblings Mabel, Ronald and Patricia and survived by brother David and wife Joyce. Cliff is also survived by three step-children, Janice Macchione and her husband, Lou, Kenneth Donnelly and his wife, Jo-Ann, and Sharon VanVroenhoven (Carl Gershenson). He was a proud step-grandfather to eight grandchildren: Paul Macchione (Elise), Laura Macchione ( Steven Monsortov), Steven Macchione, Sarah Macchione (Eric Kessel), Lisa Nicholas (Andrew), Sean Donnelly (Gina), Damien VanVroenhoven (Sorina), and Celeste VanVroenhoven (Jacob Lauson). Cliff also claimed five step great grandchildren, Amelia Macchione, Alex Macchione, Isabella Macchione, Conor Donnelly and Olivia Nicholas.

Cliff was known for his ready smile and happy disposition, his love of music and dancing, his enthusiasm for sports and his talent for oil painting. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be gratefully appreciated.
