SEPTEMBER 5, 1922 - OCTOBER 30, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claude Joseph Lapointe, peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Claude was predeceased by Wardine, his loving wife of over 73 years, and survived by his four children, Claudine (Michael, predeceased), Larry, Ross (Angela) and Lisa (Joe).

Lovingly remembered as Pops by his nine grandchildren, Daryl (Jenelle), Craig (Kailey), Lee, Joel, Aidan, Bridget, Kyra, Anthony and Andrew, and seven great grandchildren, Riley, Autumn, Charlotte, Grace, Brin, Hendricks and Hudson.

Beloved by his sister-in-law Claudette Fligg (and the late Don), and his sister June Coulson, as well as his many nieces and nephews.

Claude, a veteran of WWII, was an avid reader and puzzler, an expert at crosswords and word searches, and
he loved his mints and vanilla ice cream. He proudly celebrated his 100th birthday last month at the family cottage he loved so much.

The family wishes to thank Corina and Maria for their loving and compassionate care they provided to Dad over the past year.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.,with the service on Thursday, November 3rd at 1 p.m,, at Ward Funeral Home, "Weston Chapel", 2035 Weston Road, Toronto followed by interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Kidney Foundation of Canada, Ontario Branch or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
