DALY, Christina McGill

Peacefully on Wednesday November 2, 2022 in her 98th year.

Beloved wife of the late James Arthur Daly (2005). Loving mother of Elaine Arnott (the late Gordon), Scott Daly (Beverly) and Mark Daly (Susan). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Laura (James), Caitlin (Jarred), Thomas (Alexandria), Michael (Jenni), Ian and Stephanie (Sasho) and by her seven great-grandchildren: Emma, Jack, Fiona, Luke, William, Henry and Benjamin.

Mum was a British Navy veteran who served proudly as a nurse during World War II. She immigrated to Canada on her own in 1954 and shortly thereafter met our Dad. They married on August 8, 1955 and had fifty wonderful years together. Mum loved spending time with her family, Christmas, tending her tomato garden and road trips to Florida with Dad. We will always miss her but it warms our hearts to know she has been reunited with the love of her life.

The family will receive friends at the Ward Funeral Home (Brampton Chapel) on Sunday November 6, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Marguerite d’youville Parish, 2490 Sandalwood Parkway, Brampton at 11:00 am.
