Charlotte Bernice Warman, 93 of Toronto and Vaughan passed away on Wednesday, December 20th 2017. Born November 3, 1924 in Saskatchewan, daughter of Arthur and Ellen Garry. Predeceased by her husband Harold Warman and survived by her children Garry, Charlene, Kenneth and Bruce (Irene), her eight grandchildren, Taryn, Taysha Caitlin , Andrew, Zara, Nicole, Tyler and Alyson and 10 great-grandchildren.
Charlotte was a baseball player (first base) as a youngster in Neville Saskatchewan , a tool and die maker in Toronto during the war, and an avid swimmer and euchre player in her later years. She enjoyed many friendships and social gatherings along the way.
Charlotte was a resident at the Sherwood Court long-term facility for the past four years of her life, a time which also robbed her of her memories, and zest for life.
Special thanks to a few special staff members of Sherwood Court who cared for Charlotte with dignity. Also thanks to Christina, her PSW, which without her, the last 8 months of her life would have been shortened and unbearable.
“To everything there is a season, a time for every matter under heaven,
a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to weep and a time to laugh a time to mourn and a time to dance; a time to keep and a time to cast away” -Ecclesiastes
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Beechwood Cemetery in Vaughan, followed by a Celebration of Her Life luncheon to be served at Ward Funeral Home in Woodbridge at 12 noon.
Rest In Peace Mom
