ALLEN, Charles - After a courageous battle, on August 7, 2009 Charlie, in his 81st year, peacefully passed with his loving family by his side. Loving husband of Margaret for 60 years. Devoted father to Sue and her husband Norm, and Steve and his wife Josie. Loving Pop to Chris and his wife Grace, Jesse, Pam, Ashley, Samantha and Lucas. Great Pop to Trinity, Tristen, and Avery Charles. From Liverpool, beloved brother of Leslie and George. Nephews Steve and Allen. Charlie will be remembered by all his family and friends for his kind and thoughtful ways. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston on Wednesday and Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 14th, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in the Ward Chapel. Cremation to follow.
