Charles McKenzie

Peacefully in his sleep early morning on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the age of 87. Charlie will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 63 years, his surviving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born March 2, 1930 to Robert and Mabel in Brantford, ON. Charlie was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen (Martin), & Brother Harvey. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Dorothy; their children, Robert (Marion), Ron and Janice (George); their grandchildren, Heather, Darcie (Danylo), Jason (Denise), Brian (Stephanie), and Cassandra (Chris); and their four great-grandchildren, Audrey, Georgia, Nathan and Owen. The Celebration of Charlie's Life will be on Sunday, July 16, 2017; memorial reception from 1-4pm at Ward Funeral Home's Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, ON M9N 1X7. Donations may be made to the Bob Rumball Foundation for the Deaf.
