Hutchinson, Charles “Fred”
April 1,1924- Feb 10,2022

Peacefully in his sleep the morning of Feb. 10 at the age of “almost 98”.
Predeceased by his loving wife Betty. Loving father of Jane (Doug) Skinner, Alan, and Wendy (Ron) Bannerman. Loving grandpa to Evan, David, Nathan, Ashleen and Marty. Proud great grandpa of Charlotte.
Fred had a long and successful career as a teacher and Head of the Mathematics dept. at Central Technical School in Toronto. In his long life, he and Betty travelled extensively, including a year in England with his school aged children, where he obtained his Masters degree at Exeter University, and a stint in Africa, where he taught math to teachers in The Gambia. He was a wood craftsman and avid reader in his spare time, and loved to practice both at the cottage in Georgian Bay. A kind, loving, and self-effacing man, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Special thanks must be given to Weston Gardens Retirement Home staff who cared so well to his needs in later years.
He will be forever in our hearts.
