JACKSON, Charles Herbert (Herb) Brian - Passed away at Brampton Civic Hospital on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Georgina 'Jo' (Caldwell) for 60 years. Dear father of Lynn and her partner Roy Manser, Gary, Karen and her husband Roger Jacklin and Ross who was his Dad's devoted caregiver during his illness. Grandpa of Michael Nesbitt (Kelly), April Nesbitt (Bill Currie), Emily Jackson, Andrew and Brian Jacklin. Great-Grandpa to Kianna, Alissa and Nathan Currie. Also survived by sister Della Grice. Predeceased by brothers Jim, Elwood, George, Cecil and sisters Clara and Ida. Herb was a General Contractor for many years in Brampton and Mississauga and took great pride in his work. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 'Brampton Chapel', 52 Main Street South, Brampton on Tuesday, March 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Private family interment at Brampton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario and the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
