Charles Herbert Francis

FRANCIS, Charles Herbert – Peacefully, surrounded by his family on October 2, 2013 at the age of 76. Charles (Herb) is survived by his bridge partner and wife of 52 years, Roma; daughters Blanche Douglas (Trevor), Michelle and Jacquelyn (Peter); sister Patricia Thomas (Lenasia, South Africa); sister-in-law Kay Pavadai; nephews and nieces in Canada and South Africa. After an eternity surrounded by women, retirement from the TCDSB gave Herb ample guy time with grandsons Shane, Tyler, Graham, Felix and Isaak. Friends are asked to meet directly at St. John the Evangelist Church, 49 George Street, Weston on Saturday at 12 noon. Following the Mass, friends are encouraged to drop by the family home to celebrate Herb’s life.
