January 11, 1936 – May 14, 2016
Charles Kenneth T Hall II, “The Bay”, passed away peacefully with his children by his side at St. Catherine General Hospital on May 14, 2016. Beloved and cherished father to Lorraine and Lisa. He was an amazing grandfather to Stefanie, Sarah, Samantha and Domenic. A grandpa that would get on the floor and play with them when they were young, then encourage mischief with them when they became teenagers. His grandchildren were his most prized possession and he was so proud of the young adults they had become.
He was the youngest of seven children of Charles Kenneth T and Ethel May (predeceased) where he was given his nickname as the baby of the family. He loved all his siblings and missed them dearly; Frederick (Garth), Alton, Agnes, Doris, James (Bumpy) and Roland (Rollie), all who predeceased their Bay and now celebrating his return home. The Bay had a special gift to connect to others young and old. He was a cool uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
Born on a small farm in Cowansville Quebec he loved to travel and spent many years working with his uncles and cousins on family carnivals. He married Lise Riopel (divorced/predeceased) and started to raise his family. His life then took many different paths but he touched all who he met. The Bay left his extended family with a very well documented family ancestry and photos to be enjoyed by all.
Family and friends and invited to memorialize him on Saturday May 21, 2016 at 11:00 am followed by a reception at Ward Funeral Home in Woodbridge Ontario. Family also invites all to share stories of the man who is now a legend on www.wardfuneral.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
