Cesarina Corriero

It is with great sadness that the family of Cesarina Corriero announces her passing after a courageous battle with cancer.

She is predeceased by her parents, to whom she was a loving and devoted daughter. She was a supportive and wonderful sister to her brother Serafino and a devoted aunt to her niece and nephews. She was a treasured niece, godmother, cousin, sister-in-law and friend. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at Sunnybrook Hospital for giving Ces so many moments of joy in her final weeks through music and art. Extra special thanks to her Zia Lina who cared for and nursed Cesarina in the weeks and months prior to her hospitalization in the most heroic and incredible way. Thank you to her cousins, who were more her sisters, who took her to her appointments and supported her in every way possible; who never hesitated during Covid, when Ces needed anything at all. Your love and devotion to her is a testament to who she was to so many of us. A kind and generous heart who touched all of us in her gentle way, and who’s memory we will hold dear for the rest of our days. We love you Ces.

We would like for donations in her honour to be made to the Sick Kids Foundation, so that other children may benefit from the love of Auntie Ces.

Effective March 15th, 2021, as per the mandate of the Bereavement Authority and to safely manage and adhere to social distancing requirements, please RSVP for the visitation. The final interment will take place on Tuesday, August 10 at 10:00am, at Westminster Cemetery.

Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory as per the Provincial Regulations.
