Passed away peacefully with Dianne by his side on Thursday August 29, 2024 at the age of 89. Devoted husband of Dianne for 67 wonderful years. Proud father of Terry (Terry Lynn) and Stewart. Cherished Grandfather of Colin (Rebekah), David (Rebekka), Cara and Mitchell. Loving Great Grandfather of Zoey, Mackenzie, Theodore and Harry. Dear brother of the late Lorne, Laura, Betty and Bruce. Cecil has been reunited with his parents Alice and Colin Ray.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 3, 2024 at 11:30 a.m with visitation following from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.). A private family burial will have taken place at Nashville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated.  Click HERE to donate
