Catherine "Rene" More

February 3, 2025.

Peacefully, at Humber River Hospital Toronto. Loving Mother to Ross (Beth) and Anne. Loving Wife to the late Tommy. Loving Aunt to Isobel (Dugald) Kathryn (predeceased) and Kevin, and to Robert (Moira). Loving "Auntie Rene" to all of their families.

Beloved daughter to Jessie & Donald "Dibi" (predeceased). Sister to dearest Jen (Dick) and her Brothers Alec John, William "Willie" (Annie) and Donald "Donna". Sister-in-law to the late Meg (Jimmy) and Mary (Bob).

Cousin to Willie Robert, and to Ian, Cathie (John) & James (all predeceased) and to the late Bessie Ross and all of her family.

A "Highland" Lass who came to Canada with her young Son and Husband and built a new life, making many new friends who all became part of their new Canadian family. They will miss her dearly.

She loved the seaside, picnics at the beach and happy days at the "back shore". 

She baked the best shortbread and mince pies. The Maple Leafs & Blue Jays always kept her on the edge of her chair, 

She filled our lives with love & she gave us her whole world. We will miss her forever.

As per Mom's wishes, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Toronto or to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
