Catherine Groenenboom

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Catherine Groenenboom. Her wish to spend her last days in her apartment at Holland Christian Homes was met. She died peacefully with her family by her side.

Catherine was the much loved wife of the late Bas (1999), cherished mother of Len, Jane, and mother-in-law to Henry. She was a loving Oma to Kaitlin, Danielle (Mike), and Adrienne (Jay).
Mom was a Great Oma G to Avery, Natalie, Taylor, and Mackenzie.
Catherine is survived by one brother, Jaap and sisters-in-law Cok, Plonie, Coby and Janie, all still living in The Netherlands. She is also fondly remembered by numerous nephews, nieces and family friends. She was predeceased by her other family members - Francien, Bas, Arie, and Riet.

There will be a private family burial, as per Catherine's wishes. She asked that a Celebration of Life Service be held:

Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2pm
Holland Christian Homes, King Tower (35 Kingknoll Drive) in Horizon Hall
Parking is available at the back of King Tower

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that any donations be made to The Canadian Cancer Society in Catherine's name.
