Caterina (Cathy) Cohen

Beloved Cathy to the amazement of the medical industry surviving cancer three times in a row over five years has decided to join God’s garden on Friday, March the 13th, 2015. Cathy’s body is 42 years young and she is here to stay forever in Spirit. She was a giant in every respect and her presence in body, mind and spirit was felt by all who knew her and even touched by her from a distance.
Cathy is the beloved wife of Marcel M. Cohen, P. Eng who cared for her to end and loved her very very deeply. Cathy reciprocated her love for Marcel in kind many times over and gave him his basic purpose in life to help the greater good for a disease free world beyond just helping her. She knew, she was just a vehicle to help a great many others through her.
Cathy is the Loving and very highly caring mother of Marcus, Renee and Nicole. Her children were her most intense focus in life. She is the cherished daughter of Vincenzo and Maria Rita Perino, and daughter-in-law of Hayim Kohen. She is deeply missed sister of Carmela (Michael Saliba) and Bruno Perino (Josie). Proud aunt of Vanessa, Ellora and Daniel. Cathy will be deeply missed by all of her adoring aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and many communities beyond her home town.
There is more to Cathy, much more. She did not only live for herself and her loved ones. Cathy lived for the greater good. Cathy lived in many dynamics beyond herself. Her beloved husband Marcel has dedicated himself to continue Cathy’s legacy and bring serenity of beingness to many around the world.
