Carrie-Anne Hubbard
October 17, 1972 – August 24, 2023
Daughter of Kenneth M. & Jacqueline A Hubbard (nee Vaillancourt), sister to Keith Andrew Hubbard.
Carrie passed peacefully in the arms of her family at Bethel House (Hospice) in Inglewood. A light has gone out in our world as our brave warrior has fought her final battle and given herself over to the loving care of our Heavenly Father.
Carrie was a highly intelligent, quick-witted, sarcastic lady who loved and lived life to the fullest. She was adored by her family and friends. Always kind, extremely generous, never judgmental, and quick to offer a helping hand to anyone. She made friends very easily and kept them for decades. Once you were in her circle of friends, you were there forever. Carrie will be deeply missed by her immediate family, her extended family, her many friends and all those who came to know and love her.
We would like to thank the staff at Bethel House as well as the doctors and nurses at Brampton Civic Hospital Oncology and Palliative Care unit and the General Surgical unit for the wonderful treatment Carrie received while under your supervision. It takes very special, compassionate individuals to do what you do day after day and we were truly blessed to have had all of you on her team.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 21 Simonston Blvd, Thornhill, on
Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 10:00am. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Ovarian Cancer Society Walk of Hope would be greatly appreciated.
