Carolyn Evely, 80, passed away on April 27 after a long battle with kidney disease. She was surrounded by loved ones at the time she passed.
Carolyn was born on July 9th, 1942 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Carolyn moved to Toronto in her early years with the rest of her family. She met her husband, Stewart Evely and they wed in 1969, going on to have 2 children Noelle and Jules.
When Carolyn had Noelle, she dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Carolyn excelled at propping up her children and supporting them through their many passions and difficulties. Whether that was supporting Jules through College or encouraging Noelle to stand up for herself. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others.
Carolyn dedicated her life to being a wonderful and fantastic mother. She was the foundation of our family through thick and thin. She loved to cook and loved to sing. She loved to watch classic movies and sing along when the actors broke out into song. She walked everywhere and anywhere. Always making people around her smile with the jokes she made. Supported her children beyond 100%.
Carolyn was a kind and caring woman who would make others around her feel better with her humor and personality.
Carolyn was predeceased by her mother Mary, her father Frank (daddy) and her siblings, Eileen, Stanley, Lorraine, and Jean Ann. She is survived by her husband Stewart, and her children Noelle (John) McDonald and Jules (Melanie) Evely. Her grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley, Josiah, John, Mackenzie, and Bryce. As well as her many nieces and nephews and friends.
In honour of Mrs. Evely, please consider a donation to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
