Carol Scott

Carol Scott (nee Lacroix) died peacefully Sept 27, 2014 at Brampton Civic Hospital surrounded by her beloved family. She fought hard with strength and grace in her year-long battle with cancer. She is survived by her cherished husband of 45 years, Gord, her beloved children Shannon (Trevor), Michelle and Michael (Ellen), her dear father Basil Lacroix, and loving brother Ken (Helen). Carol adored her six grandchildren Taylor, Cole, Addison, Shyann, Brooklynn, and Kain, and was greatly loved by them. She was a wonderful aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother Yvonne.

Carol was a sweet, warm, caring, and fun-loving person who made everyone feel like family. Her home was a comfortable place where people were always welcome. Her relatives often remarked that with her gentle and compassionate nature, she never had a harsh word to say about anyone.Her love of children and pets was a constant throughout her life and she always had a houseful. She never turned away a stray, whether animal or human, and became a mother to all. Carol never gave up on people she loved and believed in and her legacy of love can be witnessed by the many family and friends who mourn her untimely passing. She will be truly missed by all who had the joy to know her.
