Lois and Richard Gun Munro are deeply saddened at the passing of her daughter, his sister Carol Ann Gun Munro on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Ian Anderson House in Oakville. Carol attended Rosethorn Elementary, Etobicoke Collegiate. She received her Bachelor of Science from Ryerson Polytechnic specializing in Project Management. At 13, Carol joined the Etobicoke Lancers and started a 40+ year involvement in Drum & Bugle Corps. She was an active member of Toronto Optimists Alumnae, Canadian Ski Patrol for 20 years, and an ardent ARGO fan and season ticket holder. She will be dearly missed by many family and friends.
A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave) on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 1 p.m with 2 hours of visitation prior. In memory of Carol’s life, donations may be made to the Terry Fox Foundation or Ian Anderson House.
