It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Carmelita Kadri, who is also known to many as Carmen. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 8th, 2022, at the age of 76, at Credit Valley Hospital in the City of Mississauga, Ontario.

Carmen was born in the Philippines on November 29, 1945 to Rosalia and Pastor Oalican. Devoted wife of Hanapi Kadri for 42 years. Beloved mother of Romana (William), Arlie (Christina), and Joe Agner (Tracy). Loving grandmother to Robert, Michael, David, Jasmin, Kyle, Daniella, Matthew, Mariah, and Emma. Proud great grandmother to 7. Dear sister of Late Fely (Jaime), Lita (Rick), Rudy (Pat), Avelina (Late Fred), Norma (Late Roger), Late Esther (Late John Paul), Linda (Late Lino), Bong (Mely) and Beth. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Carmen was kind, loving and generous, who always remembered to remain grateful to those who helped her throughout her life. Carmen enjoyed travelling with her husband and was fortunate enough to have seen many places. No matter where she went, she was often beautifully dressed, make up and nails done impeccably. Her accessories and jewelry matched each outfit.

She once dreamt of becoming a writer in her younger years, and although life led her in different direction, she never lost her passion for reading and writing. Her greatest joy was her family and she loved spending time with them. Always a gracious host at family get together, and well known for her delicious deep fried spring rolls.
Our grief over losing Carmen is infinite and our loving memory of her will always remain in our hearts.

Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, July 15, 2022 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
